Ava is the new addition to our family.
Waiting at the starting batches at the Cape Town Cycle Tour, gave me some opportunity to experiment with light and silhouettes.
The Cape Town Cycle Tour is a big event on the cycling calendar. The day before we usually cycle a short distance to make sure all is good for the next day race and have some photo time with interesting sculptures along the route.
Spending time at the beach and the lagoon in Cintsa, I tried my luck at bird photography. I was lucky capturing a few birds in flight like this heron.
I have photographed this scene from a fishing village in Cambodia. We took a boat trip through the fishing village. It is always interesting to observe people and their life styles.
The flower dome was listed as the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in the Guinness World Records 2015 and hosts flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. Changing displays are also done to reflect different seasons and festivals.
Inside the Cloud Forest, there is a waterfall. There are also many walkways between the unique plants.
At the Gardens by the Bay there is two dome buildings. The one is the Cloud forest (the one in front) and the other is the Flower Dome.
I have done many photos of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore during night time, therefore I want to share some day time photos as well. I usually stroll around the gardens at the Marina Bay Sands before sunset, thereafter I enjoy doing night scapes.
I have experimented with Photoshop to create some fake snow. How ironic that Summer (my assistant) was the model for the winter shoot.
Any beach will always remain some of my favorite places. Sunsets are also a beautiful time of the day. On a lucky day like this one the colors were so warm and vibrant.
Wishing that we were in Singapore, I am sharing this image with you of the Marina Bay Sands. I always love doing night landscapes there.
This time of the year we usually go on our annual leave. We were planning a trip to Singapore, however our plans changed due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Wishing we could be flying abroad, I am sharing this image of a sunrise over the ocean, taken from the plane of one of our international flights.
The set subject for this month at the camera club was: door handle and it neede to be processed in monochrome.
During the music photo shoot, I also took photos for the set subject at the camera club. The set subject for which I took this image was "hands".
At the Bloemfontein Camera Club there is a set subject every month. One of the set subjects was pet interaction, where I photographed my dog Rex with my assistant Micky. Micky is really fond of animals.
Dis sooooo mooi!!!
