The Supertrees in Singapore are home to many plants, including these orchids.

The SA U/19 badminton tournament started yesterday. It is going to be a busy week full of action.
I can’t remember how old this little girl is, but she knows her posing.
This is to remind myself what Similan Islands looks like where we have done many dives years ago.
It really has been too long since we have been underwater. I photographed this clownfish a long time ago at the Similan Islands in Thailand.
I had a lot of fun photographing all these friends who came for a surprise photo shoot.
I had an amazing mom & daughter shoot with Lee-Anne & Juan. Don’t they look amazing?
One afternoon after a shoot, I drove past one of the places where I do wedding photos. As it was sunset time, I stopped to take some photos.
I enjoy using the natural light in the studio. It was a busy day in the studio. The last shoot of the day was this one with Liana.
Gustav is now 10 months old. We are busy with a special project for him which is almost finished.
In general the back side of an animal is not always it’s best side. However, since the face and eye is visible in this image of a landing seagull, it doesn’t matter that the photo was taken from behind.
During a family photo shoot on a farm during March, I took the opportunity to photograph the sunflower against the beautiful sky.
It is always very entertaining to watch the people on the beach doing "selfies". I took this photo on Patong beach in Phuket.
Although it was a public holiday, I did decide to play around with the natural light in the studio. Anel "played" model for this natural light shoot.
Charlene will be turning five shortly. Her theme for her party will be "the little mermaid".
This little girl came for her shoot before she is turning one next month. I loved her fur coat and it would work well with my new head piece I brought from Singapore.
Do I need to say anything about the Bars in Bangla road – Phuket? It is said that: "An image speaks more than a 1000 words."
The laughter and happiness of this lady was so special. I captured this Singaporean sales lady in China town where she was doing a sale with international customers.
I had a studio workshop tonight with ten students and five models. Heleen was one of the models.
Adriana, one of the RAG finalists at Kovsies, was miss photogenic. What a great shoot!
At Melkbosstrand where we usually stay, there is always some seagulls on the beach that can be photographed.
What an awesome shoot with Louise! It was the last shoot of the day and we took our time with hair and makeup (done by myself) and the shoot itself.
Photography at night with only ambient light can be a challenging task. I photographed this street musician in the Bugis area, Singapore on our last trip. It was done with only ambient light.
Luckily I already photographed this little new born boy already before the extreme cold arrived today.
Xolo was one of the RAG finalists at Kovsies and he was also mr photogenic.
It was the monthly Bloemfontein Camera Club (BKK) gathering. This was one of the photos I entered of Tilde-Mari. It was also from her RAG finalist shoot and I did the hair and makeup myself.
As a wedding photographer myself, it is always interesting to see how wedding photographers in other countries operate. So I stole a few shots from the side in Singapore. The Marina Bay Sands and Supertrees can be recognized in the background.
"You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take." As we were riding bicycle, the sky was just beautiful. Since we were on bicycles and my "big" camera stayed at home, the Iphone 5 just had to do the trick.
