The previous image of raindrops inspired this photo of a fairy capturing a raindrop. Micky was the model for this shoot which was captured in studio. All the plants was captured in my garden.
Monthly Archives: April 2020
After the rain yesterday, the raindrops sat like glass beads on the plants.
I have photographed this scene from a fishing village in Cambodia. We took a boat trip through the fishing village. It is always interesting to observe people and their life styles.
The flower dome was listed as the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in the Guinness World Records 2015 and hosts flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. Changing displays are also done to reflect different seasons and festivals.
Inside the Cloud Forest, there is a waterfall. There are also many walkways between the unique plants.
At the Gardens by the Bay there is two dome buildings. The one is the Cloud forest (the one in front) and the other is the Flower Dome.
I have done many photos of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore during night time, therefore I want to share some day time photos as well. I usually stroll around the gardens at the Marina Bay Sands before sunset, thereafter I enjoy doing night scapes.
Symmetry was also one of the set subjects at the camera club. I have decided to apply it to a studio shot. Sanelle was the model for this experiment.
I have experimented with Photoshop to create some fake snow. How ironic that Summer (my assistant) was the model for the winter shoot.
Any beach will always remain some of my favorite places. Sunsets are also a beautiful time of the day. On a lucky day like this one the colors were so warm and vibrant.
Celebrating Easter, the cross symbolize the price Jesus paid.
Wishing that we were in Singapore, I am sharing this image with you of the Marina Bay Sands. I always love doing night landscapes there.
This time of the year we usually go on our annual leave. We were planning a trip to Singapore, however our plans changed due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Wishing we could be flying abroad, I am sharing this image of a sunrise over the ocean, taken from the plane of one of our international flights.
The set subject for this month at the camera club was: door handle and it neede to be processed in monochrome.
I did many photos in the UK of forests and mushrooms. Many of the forests look like they could have fairies living there. Therefore I created a fairy forest in Photoshop. Micky was the fairy.
The Shard is a 95-Storey building in London. I took this image from a ferry on river Thames, during mid day. Mid day is not always the best time to take photos, but luckily the clouds on that day helped to create a dramatic look.
A composite is the combination of multiple photos. This one is a combination of a forest I photographed in the UK and one of my studio shoots.
During the music photo shoot, I also took photos for the set subject at the camera club. The set subject for which I took this image was "hands".
