It is our first time at Krabi – Thailand. We had beautiful sunsets the past two days at Ao Nang beach.
The last place we visited before we left Vietnam to Krabi was this flower market in Hanoi.
I captured this man laughing at the Bac Ha Market – Vietnam. There were a couple of men smoking, trying out the tobacco.
We traveled to Sapa in Vietnam with a train. The local people here have different traditional wear than in the rest of Vietnam.
We had a day trip to Hạ Long Bay in Vietnam. It was extremely busy due to the public holidays.
We arrived in Vietnam and visited some local markets in Hanoi. What caught my eye is the sunrays through the smoke.
We met with some friends for dinner and had such a lovely time. Afterwards they took me to get some photos of Marina Bay Sands and the flyer.
We have arrived in Singapore. I remember that we visited this temple during a day trip the first time we came to Singapore on our honeymoon. It was by accident that we walked pass the temple again and it brought back some memories.
We spent some time at a street market in the Sham Shui Po area, Hong Kong. There are always lots of photo opportunities.
We are finally on holiday and arrived in Hong Kong to spend the day here. This was at sunrise.

On one of our Umkomaas trips, I photographed this swallowtail hawkfish at Aliwal shoal.
Marine animals have always fascinated me. This Maypole is just beautiful with its colors and stripes.
I had the opportunity to photograph Charissa for a modeling portfolio. I am also looking forward to future shoots with her.
If I remember correctly I photographed this Durban Dancer shrimp in Thailand on one our dive trips to Similan Islands.
I will be revisiting my underwater photos a bit more this week, as I hope I will be getting a chance to get underwater when we are on holiday, even if it is just snorkeling.
I also had another "Frozen" fan in the studio yesterday. She looked beautiful in her outfit and was so exited to wear it for the photo shoot.
It was once again a busy Saturday in the studio of amongst the shoots was this pregnancy one where I could play a bit and be a bit more creative.
I have done my first matric farewell shoot this year.
It was graduation this week at UFS and the week was busy with graduations shoots. Congratulations to all the graduandi.
The six month old babies in general are friendly and I usually get more smiles from them.

Congratulations on your wedding Henry & Ananda!! They got married in Kathu (Northern Cape) and we did their wedding photos at the golf course. The weather forecast predicted some rain, but we got these amazing shots.
I did photos at an event where some dancers performed. Getting some action shots under low light conditions can be challenging.
Sometimes when the new born babies are awake, it is easier to start off with the family photos, such as this one with her five year old sister.
A few new born’s visited the studio this week. They are just so sweet when they are sleeping.
On our previous trip to Singapore, I went to photograph the Ion Mall due to it’s interesting architecture. In front of the Mall was these colorful characters.
One of the hobbies of Singaporean’s is to fly kites. When they fly kites at night, they light up the kites with LED lights.
