We are back at Melkbosstrand for the Cape Town Cycle Tour. The sunsets are always just amazing.
The Cape Town Cycle Tour is a big event on the cycling calendar. The day before we usually cycle a short distance to make sure all is good for the next day race and have some photo time with interesting sculptures along the route.
Photographing the stars has always been a challenge for me. Last night on a cold winter night in Bloemfontein, I have tried my luck again at capturing the Milky Way.

I have photographed this scene from a fishing village in Cambodia. We took a boat trip through the fishing village. It is always interesting to observe people and their life styles.
The flower dome was listed as the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in the Guinness World Records 2015 and hosts flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. Changing displays are also done to reflect different seasons and festivals.
Inside the Cloud Forest, there is a waterfall. There are also many walkways between the unique plants.
We had a photography congress at Moolmanshoek in the Eastern Free State. There are so may photographic opportunities.
Werner & I did our first ride for the new year at run rise. It was a beautiful morning.
We were fortunate to have a short break to Uvongo. Along with the camera gear we also took the mountain bikes and had a few rides. This was at Clearwater trails near Port Edward.
The Isle of Wight, an island off the south coast of England, can be reached with a ferry. It is a beautiful island with lots of landscape photographic opportunities. This was at Totland.
Siem Reap became a very popular for touring as there are many ancient temples of which Angkor Wat is probably the most famous one. This one is East Mebon, a 10th Century temple at Angkor.
Singapore has been one of our holiday desytinations for the past few years and I love doing photos around the Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.

There is such a variety of animals in the ocean. Sometimes the less colorful ones are overlooked, such as this anemone (also photographed at Umkomaas).
Since weekends are quite busy, we don’t get the opportunities to go diving any more. However, I still have many images from our dive trips to share. This wrasse was taken at Aliwal Shoal, Umkomaas.
On our last trip to Singapore, we passed via Hong Kong where I photographed this cat in one of the shops. There were a couple of cats at this shop.

The Thiên Cung Caves are located in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. What caught my eye in this image was how the sunrays came through an opening in the cave for a few moments.
I have done a few photos of the Singapore stadium before it was completed. On our last trip to Singapore I had the opportunity to photograph the completed stadium.
